Is every band in the same genre supossed to sound the same? (Not that I would call The Click Five pop-punk).

and who said everyone liked bands who sound like Hawthorne Heights?

And Hawthorne Heights does in fact suck.

The Click Five pop punk??? Oh my god someone please kill me.

icaughtfire, no one likes Hawthorne Heights because they are terrible at what they do. They're lyrics suck and their melodies suck. No better way to describe it. They dont have anything on who they try to copy.

i knew when i saw ur post rememberthis that you were indeed a teen bopper. and 'DISGRACE TO THE MUSIC NATION!!!' is a perfect description of hawthorne heights little one. but if pop punk is ur thing and bad lyrics/ bad throat screaming/ 3 terrible guitarists/ appeals to you, than by all means listen to what you enjoy and don't let people tell you what to like.

May I, however, merely suggest pop-punk bands that may change ur musical opinion: Alkaline Trio, Silverstein and Reggie & The Full Effect are all talented bands in the pop-punk genre that will hopefully get you through this terrible mainstream rut you've seen to put urself into.

Cheers

Rememberthis, what you have to understand is, we all think Hawthorne Heights suck because they are a mainstream, hide and go cut youself earbleeding band with an annoying lead singer who pretends to play guitar. Of course this is all opinion. Calling the esteemed music listeners of sputnik Disgraces to Music is not a way to get your point across, as you will come off looking like a pretentious 9 year old. And my friend, if you are age 12 or below, you are pretty much still a virgin to actual good music. Good music does exist under this genre. You may consider getting into Straylight Run.

And the brits and intellectuals say cheers.

And I thought when Solarflare proclaimed Yellowcard to be a "5" I was going to get sick. At least Yellowcard have some redeeming qualities.

Though I disagree with MusicOfficial's statement about 12 year olds being good music virgins. I think the rest of that "pwn" was great and I second Kripes' golf clap.

There was a recent muse that talked about music you listened to when you were young. The list frequently included Linkin Park and Blink 182. Then the music those people listened to now included Radiohead, Muse, many excellent bands by general standards. I'm not saying Linkin PArk and Blink 182 are bad, but I am saying Radiohead and Muse are better :-). That's why I make my statement that most people below 12 are still music virgins. This Message Edited On 03.21.06
I listened to Pantera when i was 11. So I guess I'm excluded from that statement.
Aww, how cute. I don't like Pantera anymore really, but I like them a lot even 6 months ago. :upset: So I guess Sputnik is the main reason for why I like the music I like nowadays.

sarcasm aside, possibly the worst question i've heard in my life. once again an astute and canny post made by one, 'rememberthis'

Lmao.

Victory Records' promotion slogan is "Support Real Music". Then they put HH and Atreyu in their commercial.

Case in point, Victory Records is a hypocritical piece of trash.
