Seriously don't get why people don't like "Wings for Marie"/"10,000 Days". That may be my fave Tool tbh.

10,000 Days is one of my favorite Tool songs. Wings For Marie is just really unnecessary imo. We hear most of the recurring shit in 10,000 Days but so much better.

Despite how brilliant the lyrics are, it's so fucking boring.

Yeah, but it is one big build up. I think that is why people shit on 10,000 Days in general. It isn't immediate and it is by far the most contemplative (even though Lateralus in structure and execution is more experimental).

Tracks like the aforementioned, "Intension", "Right in Two" and "Vicarious" are why I feel this is their best. That and 10,000 Days doesn't have a Parabol/Parabola which thank fucking christ for that.

I have never cared for that duo. Well, that is more true of "Parabola". Really don't like the guitar riffage in it.

Out of their whole discog, I wish they had played "Intension" when I saw them. It is so underrated (probs cause it is quiet).

i havent listened to much tool in a while so i dont remember what half this album sounds like. all i know is parabola was

one of the first tool songs i heard back in middle school and it partially blew my mind, but it was mainly cause of the vox

in the middle of the song

"Parabola" was one of the last things I heard by them so maybe that is why I am so sour on it.

For me it doesn't build up to anything, just one big sonic blob of boredom And yes I do love Vicarious.

I guess that is my uniqueness. For me, it absolutely does pay off.

No problem :]. I'm definately not a bigger fan of Tool than most people (even though I like them and have 2 CD's by them) so that contributes.

If every song on this was as good as Vicarious (fav track on the album and possibly my fav from Tool), The Pot and Right in Two I'd enjoy it alot more.
