Yeah, I can. New Order at that time in America had two audiences. There was the post-punk crowd, who were following NO because of JD and other bands like Echo and the Bunnymen, Cure, Siouxsie, PIL, and more, and they were buying NO albums. But there was an edgier or maybe just more open dance crowd emerging, and the single Blue Monday had made a big mark. So, NO had been releasing 12 inch dance singles, and they released a couple previously, and then some from this album. And this crowd, the dance or dance-adjacent, were buying 12 inches, of course. And so, with Low Life, you could see a bit of a convergence of two different audiences.
