I always thought that was their weakest album honestly

Soz, can't pos b/c not track-by-track. Will pos one of your other reviews instead
|
| |
Ugh don't understand why this guy was made contributor
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.5
I think I got contributor because since I've started this account I've only reviewed current releases, and quite a variety of new releases as well, I've also been putting out the reviews on a consistent basis, I know I'm still not the best writer, but I'm always getting better. Sorry to disappoint you though pax, if you don't feel that I'm living up to contributor standards in my writing, maybe you could give me some tips on what I'm doing wrong, or even some actual suggestions that might help me improve?

The track listing here makes the track listing on The Magnetic Fields' 69 Love Songs look tiny in comparison.
|
| |
Well it's a 22 disc boxset, what were you expecting?
|
| |
Should have just converted all the tracks to 64 kpbs and made an mp3 cd really

Bloc digging Bloc
|
| |
I've been waiting for this moment!
You're digging me too.
|
| |
Yeah, it's a fucking great album
|
| |
Your soundoff for it is pretty interesting. Odd opinion of the album, for sure.
But I can't speak too much, I haven't fully wrapped my head around the thing yet.
|
| |
Yeah, not all of the album is like that but man when those guitars kick it...
|
| |
I'm liking it, but for now I'm thinking it's the band's weakest by far. Many of the songs sound a bit bare and empty to me, where the band could have easily added more guitar parts or whatever.

I've never been a fan of Weekend In The City
|
| |
Haha, and of course this guy likes Intimacy...I should have know....
|
| |
It has electronics!
|
| |
Sounds like something for you then :D

I think I'm starting to like the new Bloc album a bit more, but it's still a major dissapointment.
|
