Nope. Don't like old production. I can look past it sometimes, but i'd rather not. That's why I dig a lot of early 90's thrash. Production got much better for the most part.

On some thrash albums, old production works. Like on Razor albums. Those don't need a remastering. But this isn't doing it for me.

unless you use a shitty ipod or laptop then yea i guess brickwalling is the better alternative

What is brickwalling?

Anyway yeah I'm using my laptop with a pair of USB speakers that go fairly loud. My neighbors are listening to Demolition Hammer right now. But I wish I had a proper stereo system sometimes.

there's some good/great modern dm a la Obliteration, Ulcerate, Cruciamentum, Funebrarum, Dead Congregation etc but for thrash yeah old clearly rules so much more.

well true, the older tried-and-true aesthetics are the ones I like best.



but ftr the bands I mentioned have put out material that could compete w/ some of the best osdm I know of imo.
