yeah i played plat recently, it was awful.



black 2 was pretty sweet tho, i hear good things about X/Y



@tommy nah dude honestly like nostalgia aside the designs aren't really that much worse compared to the older games. maybe a little too cartoon-y (compare pidgey to pidove...) tho. and there are tons of awesome gameplay changes since gold and silver, chief among them the special/physical split.



i honestly still enjoy playing the pokemon games, but not like i did in the past. i don't play like 5 hours straight. instead i'll play a solid 30-35 min on the bus and then put it down for the day. that's the nice thing about handhelds
