at first i was a bit meh (the first half of the album i mean) then the second half kicked in and made me love the album . I'll go give that first half another try .

Greg- I think Thrice have high ratings thanks mostly to nostalgia. They're what a lot of the post-hardcore staffers grew up on, and something they've really enjoyed watching morph. They're slanted to love what happens next. I personally think Major/Minor is quite the record, but just about everything before that was hit and miss.

I would have to agree but for me it stopped being hit and miss as soon as vheissu started due to the change of vocals , major-minor is great but a 4,1 just seems abused , still I don't think overrated would be the term to qualify thrice , but they do come close
