it's my positive vibes album lately, and they did a bad religion song on the second track lol

So hype these guys are back. Decided to give this another shot and it sounds pretty good. Still doesn't hit the same way the early stuff does, but it's nice.
New song is a real earworm, I hope the rest of the album delivers

Listening to the new album now, it's my first Hot Water Music. Band reminds me a little bit of what a 50/50 blend of Titus Andronicus and The Wonder Years would sound like. Cruising along at a solid 3.5, Habitual is my favorite so far.

Ooh, didn't know they had a new one.

@Sowing, band is remarkably consistent in that all their stuff is at least great. If you liked the new one at all, definitely check No Division and Caution, their best in my opinion, essential modern punk albums.

Thanks Sunnyvale, I'll try to make a point of it. I enjoy their overall vibe, but I feel like only certain songs rise to the occasion. Maybe their best albums will have more of that.

Yeah, I'd say Caution and No Division both are more consistent as well as having higher highs, worth a try!

awesome band
I’d also recommend their first 2 albums, Sowing. I love how much emphasis there is on the bass on their early stuff

!!! I gotta hear the new one now!!

Their previous album before the new one is nearly a 5 to me, if they continued or evolved that style for better I will 5

It’s like they injected a lil bit of Alexisonfire or maybe BoySetsFire into their style. Really good so far.
|
| |
oh fuck that's right they put out a new one today
