If he doesn't believe it's classic then he probably shouldn't give it the rating corresponding with classic.
I hope that makes sense.

This is damn close to being perfect.
Best Clapton by quite some distance.

Yeah, it's best Clapton... but I'm not a big Clapton fan, so...
|
| |
He's certainly not one of my favourite guitarists but this particular album is one of my favourite albums.

It's weird, I love blues influenced music, but I don't really like "Blues" that much
|
| |
Clapton was in-between blues and rock so yeah.
I haven't jammed that much blues myself, it takes effort to get into if
you're a rawker like myself. Seeing the connection with rock n' roll does
help though. It helped with Mayall.

Blues is like some of the best music ever.

I can easily agree with that.

Layla is one of the best songs ever, if not close to the best.
|
| |
It's actually not even my favourite on here.
|
| |
Opinions. You can't deny it has the best riff at least.
|
| |
I guess it does yeah but this album isn't about riffs.
|
| |
2nd half of Layla > first half
|
| |
maybe just because I love Goodfellas so much
|
| |
Of course not, what is your favorite by the way?

Clapton and Duane handling guitar duties on the same album is unfair. Legends.
