The variation in BTBAM is probably what makes me choose them over Trioscapes. Like I said before, having a sax, a bass, and a drums can only let you do so much...

Yeah, I get that. I've only heard Blast Off, so I'm interested to see where the album goes from there. It's on its way to my mailbox as we speak, the official website said there were only 3 more copies before I ordered. :]

How does this compare to Lingua Franca by T.R.A.M.? Really liked that one and this seems similar.

This is pretty good actually.
Wish the drumming was a bit more subtle though, its a tad "hai guys listen to this cool time sig and fill" but other than that it kicks ass.

its Jazz Fusion, its almost kind of a given tbh. Though this does focus on musicianship more than most admittedly. Still, it kicks ass.
