ight well, this review of the albumn was really good and well thought out.



personally i liked the albumn. when i got it i bumped it in my cd player for a few weeks. just lik anyone does with a new cd the like. you play it to death. there were a few songs that u skip. but overall i liked it enough play it over and over again, and some of the bass lines and beats made me pick up my bass and learn some of the lines. the music is very catchy, the lyrics were blah. im at the point were many of the rap songs it dont listen for lyrics becuase it dissapoints me. its all about money cars and girls and its very annoying. but there are plenty of people better than 50, but the fact is america or at least mainstram america doesnt want to hear someone thats actually worth listening to. i mean really...D4L...dem franchize boyz? seriously they NEED to go away. we need the old school stuff back. im tired of seein peopl walkin around with the gold fronts and gold chains thinkin they hard. i love the fact LL Cool J is back, but u knowthere is no comin back for Run DMC, Biz Markie, Wu Tang Clan, Grand MAster Flash there is no comback for them and we are stuck with Ying Yang Twins and Nelly and Paul Wall...i at least give 50 much more credit than i give a lot of new mainstream, he at least started something and made alotta money that people would kill to make

1) Rap is not a fad. Rap has been around since the mid-eighties, and while it has changed slightly, I don't see it going anywhere.

2) Rappers are not the same. Have you heard of the Roots? K-os? Kanye West? Public Enemy? Massive Attack (though it's not exactly rap)?

yes but back then it was about something. ofcourse there were the rappers that were light entertainment. but there were rappers talking about how they felt being opressed etc.

look man im tired of everybody trashin everybody. everyone can be and individual and like whatever kind of music they want. just because u lik..."rock" does not make u superior to those who lik "rap" and vice versa, we all must understand that his IS music, u cannot deny that fact. and just because its two different types of music doesnt mean there should be a gian missunderstod void. im not a know it all about music, there is much to learn for me. but to be honest. music has evolved form EVERY groups enfluence, from concert violin, to the americanized fidal of the 1700's. to the blues which can be derived from slave songs, to modern "rock and roll" which means elvis. rhythm and blues...is derived from both rock and blues...which has split in two completely different wats formin "rock" and "rap" which is just an overall cap of everything. "rock" can include, death metal, metal, "emo" all that stuff. and "rap" u got gangsta to ur parodies to the various styles. so music itself in america...is just the feed and appreciation of each others individuality and expression. and slammin sum one for prefering something u lik is bullcrap. because honesltly, there is a middle ground that exsist but peolple are too close minded to find realized it.

I don't know what people find so appealing about 50 cent. I guess different people just like different types of music. Like it or not guys you just going to are have to face the facts that music is all just about opinion. Even if the majority of 50's songs have horrible lyrics and just about some of the worst melodies out there, someone is still going to like him because its all opinion based.

Also the majority of todays rappers were never pimps, I think they are a bunch of aholes with the same IQ of that of an 8 yr old but im sure people have their reasons for likeing them.

"Fitty" is a little to cocky for my taste. He claims to be this huge gangster then makes a song called candyshop. Like oh yes gangster coming through CLEAR THE CANDYSHOP. Also i'm sick of hering how he's bin shot 9 times. That's not something to be proud of....like you know people hate you when you're shot on 9 seperate occasions

50 Cent is garbage and should have never hit the music studios. If he can get a record contract, anyone can. I mean his jaw is f'd up and he can't sing and also he just talks about sex and his only fans are children since adults know he is garbage. Try turning off the beat of his song and listen to his words. It will be so slow and crappy. A former MC told me backstage at a concert how to find out a sucker MC and a real MC. But it was a good review. I can't wait till 50 Cent quits. Why is this album rated lower than the Massacre by the way?
