If he's from NC why does he keep making West Coast shout-outs? But this is pretty enjoyable, just a little too much of a 90s NYC-throwback.

I'm trying to get my friends on this but they refuse to listen to anything on their own that's not Wiz Khalifa or Dr. Dre.

Why would a doctor rap? I'm sure he gets plenty of money from his normal profession.

I recognize quite a few of the beats on here from other albums... are any of these originals? or at the very least remixes/samples?

i guess my point was that it seems like people are giving him credit for beats that he had nothing to do with the creation of, other than just being like 'yea that album/song was dope lets rap over it and put it on the internet'

Which songs are in question? Please provide both the outkast and lute songs...

Saying that they are 'similar' is like accusing me of stealing your wheaties this morning...

That beat is exactly the same as the Outkast beat, and I have spotted some other beats that are very

similar to other ones, one is a Tribe Called Quest beat i think and there might be a Dilla one too.

Oh and there's an OC beat too if I remember well. I think they're only samples though, I'll try to

search for this when I have time.

In the meantime, here is the outkast song and the Lute song that takes the beat:

Outkast - Aquemini : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2pjHlizcXI8

Lute - West Nine 6 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1Tr-yOCxXM

EDIT: It's really frustrating because I'm sure I've heard most if not all of those beats before (or

at least certain parts of the beats), but I can't remember which songs they come from. And it's not

on whosampled.com...

yeah pretty sure this whole album is just him rapping over other people's beats, but it is frustrating bc you can only name a few of them without scouring the entire hip hop section of my itunes

Dilla and Outkast were the first ones that jumped out, but there's definitely a Tribe beat in there too

They are still dope beats, regardless. I definitely recognize a few on here though.
