My comment wasn't directed towards you shapeofpunk, it was for this dude:

and I hammered some out in about 7 minutes each not realizing my writing was going to be critiqued as much as my opinion.

Review sucks. You could improve by not being terrible at this. There is your constructive criticism.

Keith Buckley's clean vocals were pleasantly welcomed, but severely underplayed, only being featured on songs such as 'Business Casualty', 'Revival Mode', 'Drag King', and 'Indian Giver'. If there were any other features of his cleans.

You left out "Partying...", which would make the count 5 songs out of 11. This is a bad thing if you wanted almost all cleans with a little screaming thrown in, basically. Then you followed up with a sentence fragment.

The taste of banjo Every Time I Die offers in 'Partying Is Such Sweet Sorrow' also leaves a craving pang in the listeners stomach. Why would they tease with such a fantastic change of pace only to rip it away seconds later?

This seems like you're saying you want a larger presence of banjo in a metal/hardcore album. This whole paragraph is nonsense.

You are so good at misinterpreting things. Stick to that instead of writing reviews.

ETID hasn't put out an album this angry since HOT DAMN! Its also their most cohesive album to date, way better than New Junk and Big Dirty. Shape of Spunk, your clearly an idiot.

To the reviewer.

My advice is the same as some of the others, be more descriptive about the music on the record and then compare it to their prior work on a critical level. Review what it is, not based on what it could be or what you wanted it to be.

And as a new reviewer, just owe up to the mistakes people have noted and write a 10x better review next time. Retaliating with insults isn't gonna make them change their minds, writing a solid piece next time around will.
