I'm a bit frustrated with this. I like it and I kind of see why people love it, but I don't love this like most do. Right now I'm debating between 3.5-4. Maybe it'll grow on me after more listens, but for now it will be one of those 2 ratings.

this used to be only a 4 for me too...one day I just listened to songs I didn't think were that great, like malpractice, crack hitler, and I was just like WHOA SWEET

What an incredible album! I'm pretty shocked it didn't make the top 500, let alone the top 100. The fact that it is not there is literally criminal!

A small victory is one of the greatest uplifting songs I have ever heard.

Thats because Angel Dust is faaaar too bizarre to like on the first few listens. After a few concentrated listens, itll come to you like a kitten on your lap, and youll see. Angel Dust doesnt get 5 stars from everybody for no reason. Once I give more ratings for other cds, ill put a 5 for this one, and KFAD!

this is probably (for me) the greatest album ever made, listening to it 10 years ago as a kid and listening to it now it still sounds as unique and kickass as it was when it was released.

There is not a bad song on there, i really dont even know what to say about. It changed the way i listen to music!

I can't rate this a 5 because the songs before Midlife Crisis just aren't as good as the rest of the album.

Rolling Stone? Anyone who has their ear to the "scene" follows Rolling Stone obsessively; I don't know what you're talking about...This Message Edited On 01.07.09

Yeah Rolling Stone definitely does suck. They follow whatever is current and then criticise once a fad is over. However, I think Spin magazine is great, and theyve always supported my beloved FNM.

I wouldn't worry too much abot Rolling Stone not rating this album. The current clowns they have running that zine have tarnished what was once a highly reputable read. Now they are just sucking the corporate nipple. F*ck you Rolling Stone.

PS this album is epic (excuse the pun)
