I really like this album. Maybe its not as Metal as the other albums but it still has lots of cool riffs and interesting lyrics. my favorite song from this album was "Mama Said" ( I just find it really really catchy and epic). Another great album from Metallica!

It's a good review, actually. Short reviews are a challenge I need to take on soon. I kinda agree, and kinda don't. I don't really like this album, but a few songs are good. As you pointed out, it's nice that they aren't talking about death in every other sentence, but unlike you, I really enjoyed ...And Justice For All, it might just be my favourite metallica album.

in all honesty, my favourite metallica album. something about the production on the album and the guitar and drum sound is just awesome imo. I prefer the songwriting on here to a lot of metallica's other efforts too.
that being said, i'm no thrash fan, but I REALLY enjoy this album
