I understand that you are somewhat commending this album and LOVE pt 1, but you go to an unnecessary effort to bash the bands previous efforts which many people believe are better. I do respect your opinion I just disagreeing and voicing my own.

I really don't care what other people think of AVA or Tom DeLonge or any of that other bullshit. I really enjoy both of the Love albums and I think it is pretty cool that they are trying to be ambitious and conceptual with their albums. Does it always work perfectly? No. Are they even close to the most inventive or experimental band? Not remotely. They do what they do, and I for one typically enjoy it.

As an AvA fan, I have to say that this album was pretty mediocre. Which sucks, because Love Part 1 was awesome.
Crawl, All That We Are, and Behold a Pale Horse are good songs, though.

Yeah, I thought it had the potential to be good but they just ruined it by having a guy sit around in a spaceship for an hour before anything happened, and when it did, the ending wasn't even that good.
