Saw all the higher reviews for this, I like dissenting views - pos'd sir.

review would be good if he hadn't said they refuse to progress
this is a clear progression from Prophets

Extrapolating is bad.

before i listened to the album baked
its surprising how much that changes things
Extrapolating is bad.
i used to think this before I joined this site. I mean technically it still is, but it is just impossible to buy every single album
you own, it costs a ridiculous amount of money.

Yeah I have a hard time seeing this as derivative and static.

not so much surprising as profound.

Wait what part of this isn't derivative? Listening to a band simultaneously ape Mis Sigs and Defeater must be new to the Sputnik community

their first lp sounded a lot more like misery signals than this album. album has a bunch of different influences, just listen to jumping ship. mad converge influence, and then it ends with a pop-punk riff. I don't recall ever hearing a misery signals or defeater song sounding like that. Y'all are trippin, this album is rad

Really sounds like shai hulud having sex with defeater, but i'm not hip enuff to add.

Reflection is still an incredible song.

This is their first record I've heard. I didn't really expect it, but it's excellent. The first metalcore album I've heard this year.

You should check their debut too

Man, this is really good, but Prophets beats it. This album has less stand out moments.
