I'm by no means a connoisseur of art, having only really started visiting galleries in the last few months but I think cubism definitely comes under the umbrella term modern art and if memory serves that particular movement kicked off early 20th century
"Modern art" encompasses going back another 50 years though I gess

Art won't exist dude, the era we live in now will be referred to as the unenlightened age where people will lambast us for everything we did and the children will mock us for being such a bunch of morons.

I suppose it's just a way to look at it in a grander scheme of things, as the scholarly term "modern period" in History refers to anything from the late fifteenth century onwards

does it ? hmm maybe in america, we sort of use monarchs names for historical eras in UK, we had the elizabethan age, victorian etc now we have the prematurely balding germans with jug ears era

Agreed zak, it's like everything everywhere is going crazy. People are more interested in a digital projection of themselves
than how they are seen in reality. See the news over the last few days about the girl that posted a selfie seconds before
she crashed and died in a head-on collision? Easter Sunday I went to a mass at Notre Dame and I literally witnessed the
pinnacle of our shitty day and age, where a woman is in line to take the holy sacrament.. and she whips out a fucking
iPad to take a selfie. We're losing our principles and common sense.

In a nutshell dude. That waste of spunk who went viral on YouTube the other week taking a selfie by a fucking train track and nearly getting taken out by the thing. Probably had a cheque sent through the post by now for racking up the views. Fucking ridiculous.

Oh wow, I haven't even heard about that. A quick "selfie train track" search on the old YT has solved my ignorance. Deserves more than a kick for that behaviour.

yeah well people seem to be totally fascinated by other ordinary people's lives, reality tv, z list celebs in 100 magazines, trivial shit on youtube, it's almost become cool to have no talent
