I absolutely love that song but still wish it was 3 minutes shorter

I'm tied between that, the title track and Art Of Almost at the moment. The album as a whole is still growing on me, I'll probably end up bumping this.

@ TheBoss88, you're certainly not the only one who thoroughly enjoys all their albums. Each album is awesome for many different reasons for me, just some stand out a lot more than others. Even though everything between A Ghost Is Born-Wilco (The Album) gets hate for whatever reason, I still love those albums, even if they're not as amazing as Yankee or Summerteeth.

A great album.....I think either standing O or Capitol City, when i first heard it, it sounded like Jerry Garcia.

I've been really digging this, it's a well rounded sampling of what Wilco have done throughout their career.

art of almost is brilliant

that's my second favorite for sure. i wouldn't say wilco's career is done mostly because of songs like that we're they're still giving a song interesting sound dynamics.

Standing O is the only weak track for me, sounds a bit trite/underwritten
|
| |
definitely agree, wilco have a tendency to underwrite songs that come out awesome though. "im a wheel", "the late greats", "capitol city" etc etc.

It's a bit twee, but still a great song.
I'm starting to think Dawned On Me is one of the best pop songs they've ever written, even though it massively rips off Supergrass
