well, the band most of these dudes were in before took a Slice the Cake song and rerecorded it, and StC and fans called
them out on it and they broke up

so if you write anything referring to StC on their facebook wall they will immediately delete it

I'm not sure, but my friend in StC says there's no bad blood on StC's end, and that he legitimately likes the new band

As for me, I haven't really listened to it, but most djent and deathcore don't do anything for me, so I really have no desire to hear it

oh okay that's cool then. i don't know a whole lot about this band because there's almost no info on them anywhere.

yeah i'm pretty picky with this genre, but i know what you mean. this is similar to stuff like the contortionist, definitely on a level far beyond most shitty djent and deathcore

Insanely good first release. Sounds like a mix between The Contortionist and newer Born of Osiris while still remaining pretty original. I can't wait to hear a full-length

I'm starting to get really tired of these djent deathcore bands. The problem I have with them is death metal..........is supposed to be dark and about death........... not all this positive bullshit. Hence "DEATH" metal

What im saying is most of these djent deathcore bands lyrics have nothing to do with death. Death metal and deathcore, thats supposed to be a main theme. Not spacey gay robot vocals and cleans

No... it's not supposed to be the main theme. That's like saying Mathcore is lyrically meant to be based on mathematics.
