he couldnt really hit the highs, and thats with images and words being tuned down half a step too, he was awful in another day. sounded good in change of seasons tho

"yeah cause he's a lazy bastard that doesn't take care of himself anymore......effort sucks on his behalf at times"
well I wanted to say that his voice is plain terrible these days but I didn't want to be so harsh
but, yeah, that

"also it sucked it was a seated gig and no one stood up so was forced to sit there like an old man, i wanted to rock out to those tunes proper, boring cunts"
this for sure, was sitting way high up but looking at the seating in the stalls was a sorry sight.
Like I'd thought at least I'd see a bit more air-jamming but everyone was basically rock solid. Comparing it to a Rush show I saw years ago at the O2 where everyone was basically standing in the seated area.
I don't think Take The Time either sounded nearly as good tuned down like that. Took away a lot of the euphoria of my fav song. That was definitely too much for James.
"they did a cygnus x1 nod too which caught me off guard, almost spilt my amstel"
hahaha I knew I heard that but it was so transient it left me reeling

Seated venue must have sucked, though I guess if there is any band for it, it's DT.
DT was one of the first shows I went to and I remember LaBrie leaving the stage all the time. I swear he was off stage more than on stage. I guess you cant really blame him, must be really awkward standing there listening to the instrumentals. Dude should get a tambourine or some maracas or something haha

Also James' patter wasn't as excruciating as I thought it be

'Dude should get a tambourine'
He did that for a long time......and then......the laziness set in

Was not aware of that. Apparently at one time he had a full percussion set including shakers lmao. The fact that he gave up on it is even more hilarious.

band is shot.....these 4 things need to happen if there will be any saving grace:
1) get portnoy back
2) get rid of rudess, replace him with k moore or d sherinian - enough with the keyboard wank
3) make labrie lose 30 pounds, do vocal exercises, and get over the fact that portnoy will be back
4) keep the songs under 10 minutes

The I&W tour was indeed amazing but labrie sucks and the extra wank was really unnecessary... Setlist made the concert great. Shame I never got to see DT with Portnoy and a functioning vocalist

these 2 things need to happen if there will be any saving grace:
1) fire everyone in the band
2) hire peeps with their heads less up their asses

you'd be fully on board if the first 3 things happened above
