Whilst waiting 8 hours in the depressing airport Sophia in Bulgaria, the bar played "Every strangers eyes" from this album; it seemed strangely apt.
This album is genius lunacy, beautiful and discordant, with refrains from the first side mirrored on the second in different settings. It's an unsettling listen and all the better for it.
I think that (unlike the reviewers assertions) that this album, rather than highlighting Waters shortcomings, showcases his strengths as a unique talent.
If anyone can give me an example of anything that sounds remotely like this album, I'd be somewhat surprised.
