Just listened to this, not at all what I expected from the review. It was very listenable. I actually enjoyed this quite a bit.

Amazing, influential, raw as fuck poser killing album.

You could easily make the argument that this is bordering on death metal territory. This is about as extreme as thrash got and this came out in 1986. Sepultura are more of a pioneer to Death metal than shitty Possessed. This album blows the overrated Seven Churches out of the water.

The musicianship from these kids was amazing. The album has a dark gritty atmosphere with proto-death vocals, harsh screams, killer riffage, and Igor killing it on the drum kit. The poorly translated lyrics are hilarious and make the album even better.

Listen to Funeral Rites and Troops of Doom and giving this masterpiece the rating it deserves.
