In the sentence I cited, the commas are used because he jumps from topic to topic and therefore the sentence loses significance.
Not only does it not jump from topic to topic it doesn't lose any significance

@Transcend, There are some people who also write up reviews in advance of albums they're excited for (such as I was with Red's latest album) based off of leaks, so then when they're good to actually submit the review, they all post.
Also, some people want features by writing an immediate review that hopefully no staff writers also write.
