uh hum....marrow of the bone..cant even get through half that album
@ protest, excepts vinushka shits all over diabolos tbh, still a good song tho, my favorite part of the song that takes me away is at 9:24, yeah the part when the song kinda ends and you hear the piano play like 6 keys then the soft guitar lick comes back in, its like looking into the sky and when the lick comes in you see a shooting star across the horizon okay ima stop being gay now
another favorite part of the album (not the whole song particularly) is the last 54 seconds of Shitataru, its like a fucking marching army of those lord of the ring goblins hauling their catapults n shit k im stop being gay

tbh I thought Marrow was really good. Not up to their normal standards, but still a really really fantastic album. I like Vinushka better than Diabolos, but they both slay. Ruten No Tou just destroys everything in their catalog for me though, holy shit.

Think this has the best production I've heard all year. Album is really cool. Lots of the guitar work is really understated but the riffs are bad ass and the heavy bass presence works great.

Ryoujoku no Ame is probably my favorite Dir En Grey song, but that was the only real stand out moment for me on Marrow of the Bone. None of the other songs are as memorable, except for maybe The Pledge.

nah, they are all pretty subpar bar the ending to namamemamame, ware tome.... overshadows it and they both try to accomplish the same thing so yeah

I found The Marrow of a Bone one of my favorite albums of 2007. Lie Buried With a Vengeance, The Fatal Believer, Disabled Complexes, and Repetition of Hatred are all good highlights - to me anyway.

Haven't listened to this yet. I thought Uroboros suffered from poor production. Glad to hear the production is at least good on this album.
rumor around that the producer of this album is going to remaster and extend Uroboros..........
waiting on official word tho b4 i post any news on it

different senses is an abomination of a track tbh, and i like the single of hage better, just wish they put the guitar licks of the chorus in the single version/make it louder, the one on the album sounds like it was made for a 90s death metal record which i guess they were going for

I do remember liking the single version of hage better than this one but I presumed that they were the same and that I'd just gotten bored of it

i've been listening to this nonstop since it leaked, and it didn't really hit me how great it is until i'd listened to it well over 20 times. definitely their least accessible album. it takes a lot of getting used to but if you thought it was cool the first time you heard it then it's worth it to invest some time into listening.
