It does sound Botch-influenced but Botch sounds Deadguy-influenced so it's whatever really

deadguy were very influential, but Botch had their sound for sure, also this band is kinda meh tbh

I see this album as an expansion on Botch's sound but the aesthetic and the focus on groove rhythms make this stand on its own in my opinion. I don't really see it as a rip-off but that's just me.
