Aw, not going to put myself through that. I struggled to reach each song. I had to take breaks for my ears.

Nah. It's not THAT bad.

As for the artwork, it's rather generic but I've seen far worse.

You can't expect every album to have artwork as awesome as that of The Family Jewels...

Why is there a live track slap bang in the middle of this? Couldn't she (or her label) be arsed to record a studio version?

For the record, that song is awful. Trys waaaaaaay too hard.

Ali: when I first heard the album I listened to it as always without background information for a first impression and was amazed when the (attention-seeking) applause came in. The track is awful and gimmicky and just plain over-the-top. I didn't see it was 'officially' a live track until after the first listen, at which point I wondered what the fuck was going on, but I soon realised: it's just another gimmick. Another way of saying: hey, look, good live too! Except not really. Because the song sucks, and the 'virtuoso vocals' are stupid.

Is it me or does Price Tag whiff rather strongly of Where is the Love by the Black Eyed Peas? And Nobody's Perfect sounds like Halo by Beyonce...? Just so painfully banal.

Yeah you're probably right. I didn't think the album was dreadful as a whole but the whole thing is pretty much her screaming for attention.
