no they need to simply write more interesting and varied music, their ability to create a dark
atmosphere is exceptional, and from what I've heard, they do nothing with it (that I would be able to
enjoy). Don't compare everything to BTBAM, Im just not that into post metal man sorry not my thang

this is good, but The Beyond has some truly heavy riffs

i actually kinda like that one pelican album a lot but post-rock is so much more entertaining than post-metal

yeah man they write more interesting and varied music than Between the Sewage and Pee, and their ability to create a dark atmosphere is exceptional

I don't think farting in a can for 45 minutes and adding some random squeaky horns in the middle is more interesting than any type of music, get over your hate of BTBAM bro I listen to more than one band and I also listen to bands that are better at creating atmosphere and executing than snoozefests of albums such as this

TGM is longer than 45 mins, dont think there are any horns on it either

idk bro misery signals disagrees with you, but certain people like different kinds of music. When it
comes to most metal I tend to enjoy more melodically sporadic stuff like SikTh, Protest the Hero,
Unexpect and a lot of technical stuff, I enjoy more flashiness in my metal. Not to say I don't
absolutely love bands that develop more melody and have tighter song structures like Mis Sigs,
Converge, Cave In, Botch, Death, Cynic you know stuff like that
