"but i mean there's always been this shit that critics started that if you're not fucking you're guitar you're pretentious, it's all bullshit really, fripp's a hard genius"

i underestimated you sonic, that's the same concept that has been with me since my love of prog began

i mean sure seeing hendrix live would prolly be a more entertaining and energetic show but he cant prog or ambient as hard as fripp

btw did u guys know hendrix saw kc in 69 and after the show was quoted saying they were the best band in the world and then he went up to my beautiful fripp and said he loved his playing

favorite old school prog for me would be animals, court, close to the edge, red, dark side of the

moon, mirage, selling england, hemispheres either soft machine's third or mahavishnu's debut if u

count those as true prog

though lead guitar isn't part of the rhythm section anyway so there's no reason we can't both be right

yeah obvi return to forever had everything insanely tight but mclaughlin's leads are perfect, hes brilliant on the first 3 maha orch's and on everything he did with miles

omg that is a sexy band but my vocalist for like the perfect rock band would prolly be david gilmour and di meola instead of mclaughlin (they both rule but)

no reason you couldn't have a radiohead-esque three-guitar band.

also, gilmour's a good singer an all but his vocals aren't what make pink floyd great
