also, I agree with what Hans just said. the issue happens to be that the wealthy in this country are no longer solely made up of the most innovative and intelligent -- a large percentage are trust-fund babies like Bush. That's what happens when wealth gets passed from generation to generation rather than being distributed to those who earn/deserve it.
^ Oh I know, there will always be trust fund babies. I am referring more to big business, the whole "lets tax the rich!" thing really correlates to business. What liberals don't understand is that punishing the "evil big businesses" actually makes things much worse. There isn't a business in the world that will simply just eat new, increased costs, and not 1. either pass along those costs to the customer, making products more expensive, or 2. Finding some way to cheapen the product itself, or to stop trying to improve things through innovation, which requires R & D, which requires money. You get the point.
