man & swine might be my favorite track on here. the "aahhh aahh aaahh ahhh" vocals combined with the riffs and the rough singing came together perfectly.

it was a bit "eh" the first few times but it grows fast and it's actually just as good as most of their other output. SO... FUCKING... CONSISTENT

Savor the Kill is one of the worst songs on here, the rest is excellent though

It's the most predictable track but very catchy, the 2nd half of the album slays.

Wow! I just wrote a long ass review for this album and the Internet fucked me!!!!!!!! what a waste of time. So to be short and sweet...3 out of 5. This album had a new flavor compared to the older Darkest Hour albums. But it still kicked ass. "The Human Romance".....just think about the title and the cover art as you listen. You get sucked into its world. Especially when listening to the piano in the intro, holy shit is that deep. Its like your dead and floating into the afterlife! I love Darkest Hour, and since their last album sucked, Im happy they didnt completely crash. John Henry's vocals display alot of emotion and pain in this album. And the music in general toned down a bit, but it all flows with albums name which made me finally think, "Huh, I get it now!" Plus you still get all the good stuff that your used to with Darkest Hour from previous albums. So, for any Darkest Hour fan that can put on this album with an open mind and acceptance to slight changes, Im sure youll end up enjoying it after a listen or two.

Good album. The band is evolving... and I like it a lot. If the band was still having the "Deliver Us" sound, this would have been too much mainstream for me.

If this had the Deliver Us sound I would make a jizz jetpack.
