yeah no offense adam but this review is as bland as you make out the album to be

all my reviews are bland, im surprised no ones caught on sooner.

album is putting me to sleep right now

Bought Hazards of Love on a whim a year or so ago. I was sort of impressed, maybe a 3.5 for me... But, it wasn't something that made me want to buy anything else from these guys.

album is awful, though I have never liked anything they have ever done ever.

Someone pointed out that this album would be polarizing and I stated that I didn't see how that was possible.



I think that I can officially say that i was wrong. I am sincerely shocked that so many fans found this album "lifeless".



I actually do get a sense of what you are talking about with this opinion it simply doesn't hit me that way with the end product. sorry about my comments yesterday I was just truly shocked (even if you gave a warning in advance). ;^P

I agree with this review. Album seemed phoned in, and no where near the talent level of Crane Wife. I also hated Hazards though, but Crane Wife is one of my favorite albums.

sounds indeed pretty boring on first listen. This Is Why We Fight is kinda nice though, but still no comparison to anything on The Crane Wife.
