123, though "flat" beats are honestly my least favorite types of beats--less and less do i find beats that make me say "yuck" rather than just "yawn" or some variant. and yeah i always felt the trinidadian (???) accent is pure grime, haha.

that being said, i've only been compelled to return to the first track of this. it's sort of dumb but really addictive stuff.

I had really low expectations for this album, but it is better than I expected. It's not the greatest, but it's definitely not bad, in my opinion.

this is true--this doesn't feel like "nicki could do better" (which she could, but in a different
way than most people are implying) as much as her doing what's been "given" to her. her being "new"
(relatively) to the game and all; these days that's usually what happens (especially considering
she's most well-known so far for being on other people's tracks [i.e. she doesn't have a "set
sound"]).

i think she could dig even further into both her "pop" sound (which primarily stems from this album)
and her "rap" (which is sort of where she started). she's really good at the latter obviously and
the former i think only needs a little push. (so basically i agree with you and just restated it in
different words, oops). she's exciting, even if i don't like this album
