Definitely! I love how that album toes the line between the foundations of early metalcore and the melodic elements it would later embrace. Can't wait to see what you think of YCBY

Only spun this three times now and, I may be (definitely am) in the minority, but I like this quote a bit more than December. Granted, I don’t have nostalgia tied to it. I was about 20 when December came out and didn’t listen to them. December has some great fucking songs, but others sound extremely samey. I liked it but a little disappointed as well. I have only listened in full four times though, so there’s the possibility it’ll continue to grow on me more.

But this album hit me right away. Botchla-Lazzaro—Turn Down Elliott is a HELL of a one two three punch opening (then Rings from Corona!) and instantly shows superiority to December. This album is way more varied, interesting, dynamic and dimensional. December sounds fairly one-note.

I’m shocked this only has a 3.6(!!!), but December has a 4.2?? Damn. This is a 4 or 4.5 for me so far. December a 3 or 3.5. But final scores have not been determined yet, I’m still in the listening infancy stage with both.

Fuck this continues to grow on me. Almost up there with YCBY.

Sticks and Stones never made sense is really fucking shining for me right now.

Gotta love the Apocalypse Now interlude too. One of my favorite movies. And that mechanical/industrial pounding and tiss of the cymbal creates thus cacophony of dread…before leading into the final track. Pretty brilliant shhhhhiiiittt man.

I know I’m past the point of being annoying but, keep in mind, this is my first time listening to PTW’s discog.

But Parks and What you Meant to Me has been one of the weak links in this album for me, but it’s starting become one of my favorite tracks now. Love the lead-in interlude as well, really sets it up well.

The hits just keep on coming. Now Horns and tails needs to start working its magic as it’s the only one I don’t love…yet.

4.5’d. Promoted.

Hell yeah brother. So hyped. I’m almost as hyped as I was for Private Music at this point. Definitely going to be catch Poison the well and converge here in LA (think it’s may, will grab a ticket this weekend).

And Horns and Tails is finally starting to grow on me. As I knew it almost assuredly would.

Yeah only 5 pages of comments? And for such an older-ish album too.

This one has a ridiculous relistenability to it. YCBY and PIP are my two favs, but this and PIP are the ones I listen to most often.
