I can't help but feel that you're love of Metallica is unconditional. You can say that the theme of the album is good. And it is. But you can't deny that the musicianship, production, and feel of the album is terrible. I love Metallica as much as the next guy. But there's no escaping the fact the band completely lost their direction with this one.
