...i know i talk about mpp too much...but like, people describe mpp as bleeps and bloops but mpp actually has soft, pretty waves and washes of electronic textures that create a jungle/aquatic environment...whereas this album has dirty, rough sounding synths that are just all over the place, like sufjan didn't place much thought into the order of things. so i can't say i love or hate bleep bloops because bleep bloop beeps aren't always the same.

I actually ran to this album. Pretty damn awesome. Haven't heard the EP yet. I also enjoy the dreamy electronic stuff. Also the fuzzy stuff.

i mean if you don't see how this constitutes as dreamy I can't really help you out there

illinois could have cut off the fat but not for the reason most people complained about--just some of the songs toward the end didnt have strong hooks; i liked a lot of the "filler"

but it is a beautiful album and has a good amount of FANTASTIC songs. thats as far as my knowledge of this dude goes.
