Well, just picked up Buzzard. I'm a huge fan of the band, but I have to say, I'm disappointed. It lacks the inspired production of the first records, which is odd because Animal producer Brian Deck is now the drummer. Gone are the brilliant arrangements and cool sounds. Whenever Buzzard tries to sound produced, it doesn't work and comes off clumsy. The whole record sounds unfinished, like a nice solid demo. Great lyrics from Richard, however. 2.5 stars out of 5.

In comparison to the other albums, this is complete garbage. It seems like the lyrics, and the instrumentation has been dumbed down. It's obvious that hes not sad anymore, and every thing he says seems to not make sense or it's just stupid ie, "your lower back....your lower back, don't worry" Idk.. this was a huge let down for me.
