damage is easily their best album, get on it tommygun. and yeah disintegration is one of the best songs they've ever done. and that long instrumental bridge in closer is so sweet.

as for new surrender, i tend to prefer softer, more ballady alt-rock to the more energetic, punky alt-rock found primarily on cities. breathe and retrace maaaan. that preference also kind of explains my love for damage. give me book of love over bleed american any day.
