I recommend that you listen to them more!

Seriously though, start with Music For Nurses or Everyone Into Position. What do you usually listen to? That may help people rec where to start.

Hmm that's a difficult one. Oceansize don't really sound anything like them. Though I suppose if you want more upbeat stuff, start with some of the songs from the middle of Everyone into Position, such as Homage to a Shame, New Pin, and Meredith. One out of None from MFN is also good. Unfamiliar from Frames is rather upbeat.

k cool thx il give them a listen. Though im not really bothered about it being upbeat but will probably easier for me to digest at first. People keep raving about them but just not really be able to get into them yet plus most of them who like it are very snobby about punk so that never really helps me.

EIP and Effloresce are probably the easiest to get into but if you give This or Frames a little extra effort they have the most to offer IMO...

I gotta say I don't see how this isn't a front runner for AOTY... And this is coming from someone who really doesnt know that much about them. Before hearing this I was def into Oceansize but wasn't really a diehard fan or anything (I live in the US so theres not quite as much exposure) Ive only known about them for around 2 years or so.

This album tho just completely blows me away - its even be better than the hype.

Ocean's right. 'Size is definitely a grower band but the day it hits you, its life changing.

This is definitely growing on me, i'm on my 8th listen in three days so it definitely keeps me coming back. I think Silent/Transparent is my favorite. The beginning almost reminds me of a motW song.
