I don't know if a good response to this necessarily means a good response to Power Metal. But, I got into PM after hearing this band because I decided to check out Falconer, which is Mithotyn's guitarists next band. Falconer's first three albums are fucking amazing.
Dragonland, Elvenking, Blind Guardian, Rhapsody, Axenstar, and Kamelot are all really good. What else is worth hearing?

Yes Falconer is great and that is a solid list. Truth is there isn't that much great power metal, but
there are a handful of classics that I always find myself coming back to. Galneryus, Theocracy,
Lost Horizon and Virgin Steele are essential imo. Also look out for my next review one of the GOAT
underground power metal albums ;)
