That's what I said, people. The lyrics, almost entirely, is just a bunch of Black Metal stupid stuff. I guess Mikael still didn't have his nowaday writting skills. Most of the lyrics remember me the first Sepultura album, "Bestial Devastation". They don't even knew how to write in english (I know you guys will say "Hey, you don't write in english very well", but, whatever...), and just picked up some assorted phrases from another Extreme Metal bands and changed a little things here, a little things there. But, after "My Arms, Your Hearse", Opeth formed their own style, became a really "pro" band.

Agonisingly bad concerning the way it is written. The chances of a review holding a persuasive view when the writer cannot even hold a basic level of English literacy is slim.
