No-nonsense hard rock. This is AC/DC's second best album.

This album has awesome riffs throughout, something the latter albums sorely lack. The album does not disappoint with nearly every track hitting you with a memorable riff, especially the first three.

Highway to Hell, Walk All Over You, and Shot Down In Flames are instant classics.

On this album Bon proves he was one of rock's all-time great vocalists. He kills it on Girls Got Rhythm and Touch Too Much.

Angus' lead work on this album is quite good. If You Want Blood and Walk All Over You is some of his better work for sure.

The production on this album is worth noting. Lead and rhythm guitars are balanced, drum cymbals sound great, and vocals are at the perfect level. Mutt really got the big sound out of AC/DC.

Nightprowler is the final track and what a great way to close this album. A killer bluesy tune with a soulful lead in the beginning and great rhythm playing by Malcolm. Bon and especially the backing vocals are excellent on this track.

Best acdc I think. Beating Around the Bush and Love Hungry Man are classics I'm surprised they never get the attention they deserve.

Bon Scott was the best. Somehow Johnson-era AC/DC was never as humorous and tongue in cheek as Scott-era AC/DC.

They sound exactly the same though

I wouldn't even have noticed that the vocalist changed if I hadn't read that they did

Bon Scott's delivery was definitely more laidback and the lyrical matter was more fun.
