Is their much difference between the 08 and 14 versions?

I have the remastered version, so I can attest to the difference, which is mainly the fact the drums are much more pronounced in the mix. You can hear what they're doing a lot better than before.

It's admittedly jarring when they first emerge, but it's an easy adjustment and works well.

The only other noticeable difference was some tweaking done to the spoken word passages, making them sound kinda distant and more interesting in a way.

Both versions are still the same amazing album pretty much, but if you want harder drums go with '14. Though like I said, it sounds a lot different upon first listen.

Cheers, have they put out any previews for the new one? I rarely pre-order any music

I recall there being a video posted on their Facebook sometime back, but it was ~20 seconds or less, so nothing new yet. Hopefully we'll get a single by the end of the year.

They're selling very limited quantities. As of now there are 37 blue, 81 black, and 56 red left, and all are apparently single-runs and will not return.

Those are (predictably) selling the slowest so that's the safest bet.

I'm Sput's resident fanboy of this band through and through, so I'll definitely preorder at least a CD. These guys never let down.

If you like these guys, try out In Dread Response - Heanshore. They're pretty different, but both got great guitar work and melodies.

Apparently they'll have a new single out sometime relatively soon. I really, really hope they can live up to my perhaps too high expectations.

Also, the re-mix of this album that you were talking about is absolutely dreadful to my ears. The legendary guitar tone from the original is completely absent which pretty much takes away everything that made the atmosphere so special in the first place.
