This album really shows the dip in BJ's song writing, and the band's musicianship in full.

Its good AI was a breath of fresh air.

Macy's Day Parade and Waiting are my favorites. Nice job on the reveiw. Even though they arent the best drummers in the world I really like Phil Selway and Steve Drozd.

How could you mention that Misery sounds like the beatles? Hold On is the love child of I Should Have Known Better (A Hard Days Night) and Please Please Me (Please Please Me), which are two beatles songs.

I actually think that song stands out because of how much it sounds like a beatles song, and it's catchy as hell.

The harmony's sound like the BEatles. On the line "Low Low Low", you can definitely hear some John and Paul.

Great cd but a little bit too pop. Great tracks like Castaway and Fashion Victim.

Castaways ok, but I hate 3, 4, 8. They just suck.

yeah, they are the best tracks, this album is alot more acoustic that thier other albums, which is good, billie joe is better singing those great acoustic songs like 'macys day parade' instead that those fast electric ones like 'jaded' from the insomniac album.

Wrongo. Billie's songwriting is so tired on this album. Billie still had a shred of core in him when Insomniac came out, and rarely on Nimrod, but this has no punk in it's spunk.

I agree, MusicOfficial. This album defied the laws of physics by proving it's possible to suck and blow at the same time, I was rather disappointed

I never said it sucked, but it's far from the best Green Day album.

Oh my bad, my sentence stucture there was flawed. I ment to agree with you on you previous comment about the " no punk in spunk" thing, and then have the thing about the suck and blow as seperate statment of my own
