Yeah, those are such good lyrics.

I would miss those Bron-Yr-Aur....
But actually, I see what youre saying. Yes, Slayer's lyrics are usually pointless and gore infested, especially if King writes them...but thats all part of who Slayer is, and that's one of the reasons why they are my favorite band.

"You won't find any ballads on this album. Heck, you won't even find the guitar amps on a clean channel. Every song is out and out brutality and supreme aural punishment for the ears."
....And the bad part is?

"Yes, but if Kerry didn't write them we also wouldn't have:
"Bones and blood lay on the ground, rotten limbs lie dead.
Decapitated bodies found, ON MY WALL YOUR HEAD!"
Come on, who would miss that? " - Bron-Yr-Aur
I happen to love it to have music scare me, like watching horror-movies. listen to "At Dawn They Sleep" and live into it(does that expression exist in english?).

I'm surprised any review of mine could garner five pages worth of comments.
Nevertheless, this album may be a classic but it is overrated.

I prefer South of Heaven more, but this is great. I'm not a major Slayer fan, but this appeals to some level. Still better off with something like Agent Orange though.
