Totally agree with what the review is saying, but i would argue that some songs do stand out-The title track and 'And the maiden spoke' are in my opinion two of nevermore's finer songs. This album is definitely their weakest though.

I'm beginning to find more to like in this. The songs aren't as good as their other stuff but there are still some pretty meaty riffs around the album. Moonrise is pretty fun even if it's pretty dumb too and the other tracks are listenable enough even if they're not that interesting.

I used to listen to this ALL the time until I played it out. This is super underrated and an amazing note to go out on for the band imo. And The Maiden Spoke is like one of the best fucking metal tracks I've ever heard.
