Its a damn good album, and I couldn't agree more with the expectations part.
So far my only complain its Angels Walk Among us, simply because the previously released version sounds so much better to my ears than this one.

I would probably like this more if it was just instrumental. This is easily the best sounding album they've ever made and there are some inspired musical moments, but that's only half of the equation. Vincent's singing is as good as it has ever been, but the songs they wrote to accompany the music are mostly really boring, with repetition substituting for hooks.

this album requires a lot of patience, those who take the time to sit down and listen to this album will be rewarded. It lacks some punch but still delivers.

I just wanted to point out a small error, Lee Douglas doesn't sing on Dreaming Light. Otherwise it's a great review!

I just wanted to point out a small error, Lee Douglas doesn't sing on Dreaming Light. Otherwise it's a great review! Damn it. I'm positive I heard her on the song. That's the only problem with digital promos -- no liner notes to see who did what. Never heard of this band, but I thoroughly enjoyed the review and will defintely take a listen to this. Cool. If this even sounds remotely like it could be your thing, then you will probably like it.

I stopped reading about you said that Steve Wilson was involved w/ this album. I don't know who this band is and frankly, i don't care. I must hear it. Anything involving Steven Wilson = Cannot possibly be lower than a 4.
