"hail to Philippakis!!!!!!Come back home bro,and we'll burn this motherf***r down!!!!!(a greek fan in despair)" Hehe. That's really sad what's going in Greece right now. Actually, was he born in Greece or England?

"Sorry Davey I tried to like it but the vocals kill it for me, oh and the build up is oh so annoying. " No need to apologise LG... Coz I'm not listening to your dribble. ;-) Seriously, the vocals in 'Spanish Sahara' out a shiver down my spine.

"Wow this is so damn pretty and subdued, something I never thought I'd hear from Foals...Very beautiful, very much of a creeper. Percussion is ace as always." Well worded fractrured. I think that was the type of feeling that Ross was going for in the summary of his 5 star review. Don't forget to rate it, as we gotta get that average rating back above 4. This deserves it.

"I have to say is a sweet album "at the moment" but after that, it becomes kinda forgettable, or maybe is just me. I was no expecting a seminal work but.... needs more work IMHO" Totally the other way for me Rusted. Initially, I thought a few tracks were forgettable. Now, I look back and think what was I thinking. Definitely give it more time.

"This is fucking astounding. 4.5.. for now." Knew this would be your thing Adam... And I wouldn't even be surprised if you eventually 5 it.

"very excited to listen now, better not disappoint." it shouldn't, as long as your expectations are not too high.

"I really enjoyed Antidotes, so I must check this album out pronto" The albums are very different, so you're not necessarily going to think the same of the 2 albums. Hopefully, you do prefer this though.

right, right.

Earlier I checked out spanish sahara, and immediately I could tell a difference in their sound.

This album should be interesting.

Yeah, it's a huge difference in sound when compared to 'Antidotes'.

It will actually be interesting to see how they integrate the tracks off both albums into their live show.

Thinking about it. Although, I sooo wish they did SoundWave-like 2-4 acts (which they still might I guess).

Ooh, I see you're digging Parades as well. Alex (StreetlightRock) is very keen on them.

They're fucking amazing. Their drummer, Jonathan, also makes really good music as a solo artist.

I thought he might be too obscure/indie for you.

they deserve to be the best young british band. 'total life forever' is not just another simple indie record, it'll sound like an offence to name it 'indie'.

I was wondering what hyperbole meant and then I read that sentence.

I've actually made a career out of being right, so if anything occasionally being wrong is a nice change. Like eating a peanut butter sandwich after having Vegemite ones for ages.

"they deserve to be the best young british band. 'total life forever' is not just another simple indie record, it'll sound like an offence to name it 'indie'." Well, amongst a lot of crap, there are a few good ones around, but Foals are right up there.

"this is pretty ridiculous so far however spanish sahara is owning my soul" I presume "ridiculous" is a good thing? And yes, 'Spanish Sahara' should own everyone's soul.

Haha. Just making sure. I expect a ridiculous rating then. No, hang on, good only equals 3. Give me another word for 'Superb'...
