I'm not a fan of the band, but I have to say...if you think Godsmack is ANYTHING like Alice In Chains, you're either delusional or on drugs (or both).

People who defend Godsmack by saying there are no simillarities between the two bands are in some sort of way right, because Godsmack is a very ambitious, but poor Alice In Chains mimic, and therefore making it sound "different". "Hmm it smells like pizza, and it even tastes like pizza, but the cheese is a little suspitious and ham just feels like a cardbox with watter in it... Yes, it is the pizza place and it is run by a jew."So Godsmack are into AiC spirit,vibe,groove... but they can only replicate it, and to make thing worse, they can only replicate it with the amount of artistry they posses in thereselves.

great voice......not so great music.
Sully's voice is great, however most of the riffs start out good but the music seems to end up with no connectivity and is very disorganized on all the songs. Very poorly done.
