seeing Killswitch solidified my opinion that they are incredibly boring despite Adam's somewhat humerous rants. i never like Howard's vocals and he was pretty weak live as well. the guitars sounded very uninspired too

i dont think its unreasonable. i really dont like their music, to me even though they might have some good songs they just dont do much for me. a band can have energy but still put on a bad show if the music is boring. everything was just off when i saw them, nothing sounded like they were clicking.

This album never gets old no matter how much I listen to this. About since it was released.

I think Howard is an amazing vocalist, I just prefer Leach.

And their older stuff just sounds better IMO. Though this is by no means a bad album.

Howard is better than Leach imo. Jones is one of the most consistant vocalists in the biz today. He sounds just as good live as in the recordings and he hits pretty much everything spot-on from the record live.

Howard's clean singing sounds hilarious, and his harsh vocals sound weak live. Before Jesse wrecked his voice, he sounded awesome.

On album Howard's good though, but Jesse was still better. Blah.

This album really built me up for hoping that Killswitch could continue being awesome, but then the new one came out...

I haven't seen them live so I wouldn't know, but Leach is better on record.

I just think Leach is better. I personally believe he was more emotional. His lyrics are a lot better than Howard's too.

I dusted this record off today and played it a couple times. Still great.

In kse's cover of holy diver Howard goes into his falsetto which sounds more or less like aretha franklin. if you haven't heard it, listen to the song. it's pretty damn funny.

yea this album is fucking awesome, never gets old no matter how many times i play it, for some reason the new album is a bit different since i'm alrdy tired of that album... hope their next album is as good or better than the end of heartache. As Daylight Dies wasn't very good.

horrible band, only their first 2 albums were good.

KritikalMotion, have fun seeing these guys live. I'm not really even a fan of their music, but they kinda rule live.

The problem I have with KSE though is that I can't tell most of their songs apart. I mean, I know The End of Heartarche and a few of their singles, but other than that they all kind of sound the same.

^^ I think when someone says that a bands music sounds same-y, they are basically referencing the singer. I know what he means when he says that; howards voice is very repetitive.
